Microsoft Software Prerequisites

• Windows 2003 or 2008 Server Standard Edition SP1 or Standard R2

PMG Service Catalog Suite (PMG SCS) Software Components

The following are the main software components.

iRequest

• Provides the e-commerce catalog and online shopping graphical user interface. This component is provided via Microsoft Internet Information Services 6.0, which is built into Windows Server.

iDeliver

• Business Process Management Suite (BPMS) – Provides the business process design and management capabilities.

iCollaborate

• Content Management System (CMS) (iCollaborate) – Provides for all of the portal capabilities, content management, and portlets such as calendars, blogs, FAQs.

MS SQL Database

• Database Server – Runs the Microsoft SQL Server back end database for data storage and processing.

Generic Hardware Recommendations-Single Server Deploy (all components on a single server)

• One (1) Xeon or Opteron CPU 2.0 GHz or better
• 4 GB RAM
• 36 GB Disk (iRequest install size is 200MB, iDeliver install size is 700MB, combined database storage on initial install is 350MB

Growth Considerations

• 5-20GB for log files with a rotation plan.
• 10-30GB for database size
